Alter, an artificial intelligence in the role of a psychiatrist, lived inside the booth. A visitor entered alone, lifted the receiver, pressed the red button and spoke. Two weeks of dialogues, all of them recorded. From those recordings a many-voiced file was later assembled: the community listening to a dialogue inside its own collective unconscious.

Nine chromed figures placed across the grounds in groups of two and three. The work is about family and the triangle of relationships. The chrome does not so much reflect the surroundings as dissolve into them: it is not the environment that is reflected in me — I turn out to be a reflection of the environment. Within days visitors dismantled the figures and carried them around the estate; the work went on without the artist.

Seven points along the path: signs projected onto walls and trees — the number 03, a cardiogram, the words “Passage permitted”, hearts — and the voices of festival participants in the dark. A discharge from Ward No. 6: to walk the trail to its end is to be discharged. The register is meta-ironic.
